Wonderful, fun puppies!
As a show kennel we are breeding for ourselves first, selectively linebreeding to produce the next generation of successful show dogs. All litters are carefully planned and we are responsible for all those we bring into this world for their lifetime. As we cannot keep them all, dogs which we are not continuing on with in our show/breeding program become available to approved homes as family/pet companions.
Homes/families are always very special to us as we cannot continue with our goals unless our extra puppies find wonderful “forever” homes. over the years, many of these owners have become wonderful friends. Another benefit to having such a fulfilling and diversified hobby!

Please note – In order to acquire a Barkerville Dachshund it is imperative that we interview one another extensively – we will not ship a puppy or dog to anyone we do not know, or in exceptional cases, without outstanding references. A Dachshund will bring you many years of companionship and devotion and we want people to know that they have a dog that has the best start in life possible. Our preference is that potential owners come to our home; we want people to see exactly where their Dachshund comes from including meeting the members of our Dachshund family.
We bring these dachshunds into this world and we have a responsibility to ensure that they are well cared for during their entire lives, therefore, if for any reason a Barkerville Dachshund cannot be kept by their owner, it is in our agreement that they always come back to us.
