Highlights of our years in Dachshunds include finishing over 100 American and Canadian champions, with the majority of them obtaining Specialty wins (events specifically for Dachshunds) including several National (Dachshund Club of America) awards. In 2000, Ted was the DCA top owner-handler in the US with one of our Smooth Dachshunds. In 2005, at the Crufts International Junior Handling Competition in England, Michael represented the United States as their top junior handler.
Family
The Dachshunds at Barkerville are a family affair. We could not have accomplished what we have or continue to do all that we do without the dedication and help of our two sons, Mark and Michael. We are blessed and grateful. Thank you to our wonderful young men!
